Wishes for the CAOV: What I would like to see from the Cambodian Association of the Ottawa Valley is a strong, welcoming space that preserves Cambodian culture while also supporting the present and future generations. This includes celebrating Cambodian music, food, history, art and language, while creating opportunities for connection, mentorship, and community building across ages.
I value initiatives that bring people together and foster a sense of belonging for Cambodians living in the Ottawa area. I hope the association continues to be a place where our culture is honoured, voices are heard, and the community feels supported and represented.
