Our Mission
At CAOV, our mission is to foster a strong sense of belonging among Cambodian community members while sharing the richness of Cambodian culture with the broader Ottawa Valley. We serve as a home away from home for Cambodian residents in the area and aim to bridge the gap between youth and elders. We believe that a thriving community is one where people feel connected to their roots, supported by their neighbours, and proud of who they are.
What We Do
Throughout the year, CAOV hosts a variety of cultural festivals and events, including the beloved Cambodian New Year celebrations, where members come together to enjoy traditional dances, music, and authentic Cambodian cuisine.
Beyond celebrations, we organize workshops, seminars, and community gatherings that address the needs of our members, helping them build friendships, access support networks, and grow personally and professionally.
